Notice: The supply WiFi Adapter works only with Wireless Network (2.4GHz b/g/n) and do not work with Wireless Network 5GHz!
From main screen scroll to the “Programs” section, and open “Raspbmc Settings”. This will open the settings window.
Navigate to the “Network” tab if it isn’t already selected, and make sure to change “Network Mode” to “Wireless (WiFi) Network”.
Scroll down until you see “Scan networks” and select it.
You should see all wireless networks within range of your Raspberry Pi. Select whichever network you wish to connect to.
This window will pop up once you select your network, select “OK” .
Go back to “Raspbmc Settings” and make sure to change the “WiFi Security” option so that it matches your router’s settings.
Move down to the “WiFi Key” option and select it.
Now enter in your wireless network’s password and select “Done” when you finished.
After you've closed the WiFi key window, move down to the “Update Now” option and select it.
Last step is hit “OK” to complete the network configuration. And that’s it, you’re done!
You may need to restart your Raspberry Pi in order for it to connect properly.
After it has restarted, try opening up the weather application to make sure you are fully connected to your wireless network!
Things to check if wireless does not work:
- You do not have an Ethernet cable plugged in!
- Check there are no spaces and strange characters in the network name or passphrase

- Check your network is not hidden
- Check your network does not have MAC address control active (if it does, make sure the wlan0 MAC is listed)
